Trox has been awarded a £400 000 contract to supply integrated service modules (ISMs) incorporating swirl diffusers and lighting for a prominent office building in Reading. ISMs are prefabricated and made in the factory and delivered to site as a composite unit to reduce installation time. Terry Farthing of Trox believes that this is the way the market for air distribution could go in the future, paralleling the popularity of multi-service chilled beams.
