Vaillant is transforming its commercial boiler offering with the replacement of its ecoMAX range with the ecoTEC range of high-efficiency system boilers. There are two models, both with a fully modulating Class 5 low-NOx burner and fan. They have an output of 65 kW. One model has a siphonic condensate discharge, while the other has a condensate trap. Both models have built-in 2-stage frost protection, shunt pump with an 8 m head and a sensor to monitor system pressure. There is a flow sensor and air separator with automatic air vent for bleeding the system and filter for fine particles. Heat exchangers are of stainless steel, and new hydraulic connections and isolating valves have been developed. Maximum flue length is 18 m horizontally or 21 m vertically. Optional components include low-loss headers in four sizes and a push-fit flue system with telescopic accessories. There is also an array of intelligent eBUS controllers, including weather compensation, and a control system for managing multiple boilers.
