Oventrop valves are just the medicine

Oventrop
Among Oventrop valves used in a new manufacturing facility for medical devices are Hydrocontrol R double-regulating and commissioning series.

Oventrop valves have been used exclusively for the heating, cooling and gas systems for the Ortho Clinical Diagnostics’ Project Horizon in Bridgend, South Wales. This facility manufactures medical devices and comprises environmentally controlled production suites with materials storage and associated warehousing. There is an attached 3-storey office block.

The heating and cooling systems were designed by consulting engineers Ridge & Partners LLP and comprise constant- and variable-temperature systems for heating and domestic hot water and a constant-temperature chilled-water system serving a range of air-handling units and client specialist water-treatment equipment.

The offices are served by radiators and 4-pipe fan-coil units. Systems are served from a separate energy centre housing the boilers, with a chiller in an external compound.
