Heat recovery

Fastlane ventilation

Fastlane Ventilation has produced a 32-page full-colour A4 brochure on its heat-recovery units. The addition of heat-recovery equipment is a significant way of saving energy and reducing expenditure in larger buildings.

This brochure features several different methods of transferring energy from extracted stale air. They include thermal wheels, the most effective technology to reduce energy-related costs in air-handling units.

Another approach is plate heat exchangers to keep the two air streams separate and avoid contamination.

Third is the run-around coil, which is particularly suited to larger air volumes.

The brochure includes direct-drive, belt-drive and bespoke heat-recovery units.
