Elta launches demand-controlled ventilation

Elta Fans has launched a demand-controlled ventilation system for any application with a variable-occupancy space to be occupied. QuietflowDCV can be manually controlled or set up as an intelligent system using a wide range of sensors and enabling devices. It can also be integrated into a building-management system.

The enabling devices use different forms of sensor to detect the level of spatial containment — such as people, temperature, CO2 and humidity) so the ventilation matches the level of occupancy.

The intelligent system also interfaces easily with other enabling systems such as infra-red sensors and building-automation systems to alert the user to changes in performance, energy levels, maintenance requirements etc.

QuietflowDCV units are designed to minimise their height so they can fit easily into ceiling spaces and voids. They have been tested to ISO 5801:1997 for airside performance and BS848 Part2:1985 for sound performance.
