Thomas More Square in Wapping is one of the Land Securities properties for which Inviron will provide mechanical and electrical services until at least 2012.

Inviron, a leading provider of building-services and facilities management, is to continue providing mechanical and electrical services across the London portfolio of Land Securities until at least 2012.

The partnership began in 2007 and has grown to the extent of Inviron now managing over 60 buildings in the capital for Land Securities. They include Cardinal Place, New Street Square and Thomas More Square, a 56 000 m2 development in Wapping.

Richard Weavers, head of technical management with Land Securities, comments, ‘When in 2006 we embarked with the London portfolio service partner restructure programme, our main objectives were customer value, cost certainty, quality service and proactive partnership. I am pleased to say that during our recent negotiations and additional competitive tender, Inviron demonstrated all of those original objects, and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership.’

Earlier this year, Inviron play a significant role in Land Securities achieving the Carbon Trust Standard by demonstrating how properties are managed and outlining initiatives and procedures for saving energy.
