Underfloor heating training

The course in underfloor heating design and installation that is approved by the Underfloor Heating Manufacturers’ Association is proving a major success. Over 200 trainees have already taken the 3-day course, which was developed under the auspices of BPEC in liaison with SummitSkills and UHMA.

The syllabus has been taken up by academic institutions and the training teams of underfloor heating companies. Seven centres offer regular courses. Designed for professionals with NVQ2/3 skills in plumbing and heating, the course comprises two modules based around wet systems to EN1264.
