Bailey lands another Heathrow contract

NG Bailey’s off-site division has secured a £5.5 million order from Carillion to provide 12 modes for BAA’s Heathrow Terminal 5 Concourse C. Nodes are structures connecting departure lounges to the planes and will facilitate the quick and easy loading of passengers on to planes such as the Airbus A380 by allowing over 500 passengers to enter through three separate doors.

This project is part of Bailey Off-Site’s ongoing involvement at Terminal 5C, which has already seen the installation of 190 m of primary plant corridor modules and four core service risers, each 25 m tall with a 24 m2 footprint.
