Centrifugal impellers have low-energy EC motors

Torin-Sifan

Torin-Sifan has increased its range of low-carbon products with the addition of energy-efficient backward- and forward-curved centrifugal fans with EC motors. Their speed can be controlled using a 0 to 10 V signal, and soft-start capability reduces start-up current.

These motorised impellers are dynamically balanced to ISO/1940 G6.3 and are available in a number of mounting options. The motor’s electronics are fitted in a die-cast aluminium enclosure or the impellers can be supplied with separate electronic options.

Impellers can be of plastic or steel in diameters from 146 to 315 mm. A tachometer output is standard so the rotation speed can be measured.
