Heat pumps deliver more heat at low temperatures

Zubadan

Mitsubishi Electric’s Zubadan range of outdoor units for the City Multi and Mr Slim air-conditioning systems incorporate flash injection technology to deliver full capacity heating down to -15°C. Defrost time and frequency is also reduced, and start-up time to achieve full heating capacity is halved compared to standard (non-Zubadan) models.

Four models in the City Multi Zubadan heat-pump range offer capacities from 22.4 to 56 kW, with a 40% improvement in heating capacity over standard models at low ambient temperatures. One outdoor unit can serve up to 43 indoor units. They have inverter drives and very low starting currents.

There are also four models in the Mr Slim range. There are two single-phase units rated at 7.1 and 10.0 kW and two 3-phase models rated at 10.0 and 12.5 kW.
