Bringing aesthetics and function to the integration of room comfort and access control in the Sofitel London Heathrow Hotel is the use of products from Titan Products and Hafele.

Titan Products and Hafele Dialock are pleased to announce that their products are installed in the recently voted ‘Best airport hotel in the world’. The 5-star Sofitel London Heathrow is linked to Terminal 5 and is the world’s largest luxury airport hotel. It has 605 bedrooms and 45 meeting rooms. The award was given as part of the USA Business Traveller magazine awards.

Working with Trane UK, Titan supplied the hotel with RDU control interfaces for the room air conditioning and DND corridor plates. Integrated into these corridor plates is the Dialock access control system provided by Hafele. The system for the bedrooms and meeting rooms is interfaced with the hotel letting system and BMS.

Jim Barlow, managing director of Titan Products believes that the relationship with Hafele will help both companies capture a greater share of the hotel bedroom control market and bring together the concept of integrated bedroom control to achieve security, comfort and energy efficiency.
