Waldmann creates web of light for City office

Waldmann Lighting

The web of light linking spaces within the restaurant of the new offices of UK law firm Addleshaw Goddard at Milton Gate in London was created using RL 40e ‘stick lights’ from Waldmann Lighting. The lighting design was by Chapman Bathurst.

The ground-floor restaurant has been divided into an open-plan dining area and a more formal banquet-style area, each with its own distinct character — a distinction that is enhanced by the lighting. Providing the visual link between the two spaces is an array of 26 W and 58 W RL 40e fittings positioned at different angles to resemble a web of light. These 3-tier fluorescent fittings use high-frequency control gear.
