Solar photo-voltaic CPD

Mitsubishi Electric, CPS, solar PV

Mitsubishi Electric has produced a free, CPD-accredited guide to solar photo-voltaics. It explores the issues around solar power and highlights the rules of thumb necessary for specifying and installing these systems.

Building-integrated photo-voltaic systems can provide clean, renewable power — reducing electricity bills and cutting CO2 emissions. The guide looks at the various systems available — from in-roof, on-roof, standing seam, facades and flat-roof systems. It also explores tariffs and rates.

Perry Jackson, managing director of Mitsubishi’s photo-voltaic division, says, ‘We expect the UK market to mirror the growth we have seen in Germany, and this guide sets out the basics for anyone wishing to understand the technology a bit more.’
