Legrand unveils the future of wiring devices

Legrand, wiring accessories
Legrand has launched a range of wiring devices and home-automation systems that it says will change the market beyond recognition. The Arteor range combines cutting-edge style with state-of-the-art technology to appeal to interior designers, specifiers and systems integrators.

The scope of the Arteor range extends from switches and sockets through to advanced automation systems. The huge array of stand-alone and system functions make it suitable for virtually any kind of commercial or residential project.

Features include fully customisable lighting and scenario controls, a 25 cm multimedia touch screen and a universal dimmer for all types of light source — including fluorescent lamps and LEDs. Rockers are available in two different forms, round and square, to facilitate intuitive use.

The dual option of BUS (SCS) and radio-frequency (Zigbee) home-automation solutions enable Arteor to be easily interfaced with other systems. Arteor BUS technology products can interface with other systems such as DALI and KNX.

The bevelled profile of Arteor products gives the illusion that they are floating on the wall.

The range is initially offered in 17 finishes, ranging from white moulded products through to woven metal, leather, tattoo, brushed steel and wood.
