Now available in sizes from 160 to 1000 A, Zucchini MR busbar with aluminium conductors.

Legrand has extended the scope of its Zucchini MR (medium rating) busbar range with a 1000 A aluminium version. The range now covers 160 to 1000 A. This range of busbars is ideal for power distribution in medium to large installations and for rising mains in commercial buildings.

A large selection of tap-off boxes allows the supply and protection of a wide range of loads using devices such as fuses, MCBs and MCCBs.

The system is quick and easy to install and easy to upgrade as and when required. There is a vast choice of elbows, tees and other accessories — making possible any configuration, including bespoke solutions.

Steve Marr, marketing manager for Legrand’s power distribution division, says, ‘The popularity of aluminium as a conductor for busbar systems is soaring. As such we felt it was imperative to ensure all our Zucchini MR busbar trunking was available in both copper and aluminium so that consultants can choose between the two, rather than be constrained by limited options.’
