The £2 million contract for the Bramall Concert Hall at the University of Birmingham has been awarded to Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services. The project includes a 450-seat music auditorium, and it will also house the university’s music department. The performance brief for this design-and-build contract was prepared by Couch Perry & Wilkes.

Construction is due to be completed by January 2012.
