eu-bac data goes on line

A database of products that have been certified for eu.bac, the European Industry Association for Building Automation, to eu.bacCert is available online. Thomas Mueller of eu-bac, explains, ‘With the revision of the Certification Management System [CMS], we have once again improved the overview for the user of the certified products and facilitated the application procedure for testing and certification.’

The main change is the simpler classification of products to be certified and the introduction of so-called pre-testing. Pre-testing enables provides of products and systems to have their devices tested for conformity before the actual certification test.

The new CMS also enables licenses and test reports for certified products to be downloaded.
