All the pump requirements of the 165 000 m2 Istanbul Sapphire building are met by Grundfos Pumps.

The wide-ranging expertise of Grundfos Pumps has been put to full use in Turkey’s tallest building, the 261 m-high 1650 000 m2 Istanbul Sapphire. This mixed-used complex comprises a residential area, leisure zone and a large shopping mall — so the main contractor chose to work with a pump supplier that could meet all the heating, cooling waste-water, drainage and potable-water requirements.

The building has various zoned heating and cooling systems to cope with the various requirements

ingEight booster sets orchestrate the flow opotable water, the transfer of untreated water and the supply of cooling-tower water. Pressure reducers on each floor maximise comfort and avoid excessive water consumption.

The complete project uses nearly 150 energy-efficient Grundfos pumps and pumping-solutions products.
