Dimplex introduces inverter-driven air-source heat pumps

Dimplex, heat pump, renewable energy

Dimplex’s Air-Eau range of inverter-driven heat pumps achieve COPs of up to 4.7 across a wide range of operating temperatures. They deliver variable flow temperatures from 35 to 55°C and can be used with underfloor heating, s radiators or conventional radiators. They have weather-compensated flow-temperature control. There is a choice of four outputs from 6 to 16 kW, which can be supplied with a matching EC-Eau cylinder.

Sound pressures levels are typically as low as 50 dB(A) at 1 m. A ‘quiet’ mode minimises noise, which is ideal for overnight use.

All system components are contained in the outdoor unit — including heating-system circulating pump, expansion vessel and back-up flow boiler. Only the hot-water cylinder and control vale are inside the building., connected to the outdoor unit by water pipes.
