Sontay introduces a new range of valves

Sontay, valves, controls

Sontay’s VE-x terminal valves and actuators and plug-and-seat valve assemblies offer much reduced installation costs, increased flexibility for system change and greater reliability for heating and chilled-water applications with up to a 50% glycol mix. This range is designed for quick, simple and cost-effective installation in fan-coil units, small re-heaters and re-coolers in temperature-control systems. A raised shoulder in the casting helps placement in tight locations, especially when pipework insulation is present.

Valve cartridges can be replaced in situ should the specification change. Multiple Kv values for every line size ensure close matching to the valve authority.

Terminal valve units have a turndown ratio in excess of 50:1 and a soft-seal complete-shut-off capability. Terminal valve actuators have a test life expectancy of over 500 000 cycles, aided by an end-of-travel shut-off function.
