SES reports two major contract wins

Building-services contractor SES has announced two major contract wins for its York office. One is to install building services for the £10 million new Hampton by Hilton hotel in York, due to open in May 2012. The other is for a wind-turbine testing plant for Siemens at Lincoln. SES is working on a similar wind-turbine project at Blyth in Northumberland for the National Renewable Energy Centre.

The hotel in York will provide 119 bedrooms in a new 6-storey building.

The project for Siemens will comprise three storeys of office accommodation and warehouse space. It will feature 134 kW of solar PV and other sustainable features to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
