Panasonic revitalises Mecure Hotel Norwich

Maintenance, refurbishment, Panasonic, air conditioning
Effective and energy-efficient air conditioning is being achieved in a Norwich hotel following the installation of Panasonic Etherea Econavi units in bedrooms.

The recent refurbishment of the Mercure Hotel in Norwich includes the installation of 45 Panasonic Etherea Econavi air-conditioning units in bedrooms. They were selected by contractor Aria of Reading and supplied through nationwide distributor FSW as an all-round cost-effective and energy-saving solution.

These wall-mounted units incorporate the innovative Econavi technology, which has an intelligent human-activity sensor to optimise the operation of the air conditioning according to room conditions by detecting and reacting to human presence and activities. Savings of up to 35% are possible in cooling mode and up to 45% in heating mode.

These units also incorporate an I-on air-purifying system to deliver high-quality air.

An inverter system regulates output to save up to 64% in energy, increasing to a potential 71% when used alongside the Eco Patrol system.
