Kitchen ventilation has activated carbon filter

Trion, kitchen ventilation

Trion’s T-Series range offers a complete solution for effective kitchen ventilation and includes the T-Carb activated-carbon filter (pictured) to remove odours in restaurants, fast-food outlets, canteens, hotels and other catering outlets. The T-Carb filter unit has been developed for installation immediately after an air cleaner from the T-Series electrostatic range to remove odours from extracted air once grease, fat and other particles have been eliminated by the T-Series electrostatic unit.

Featuring 14 carbon filter cells with special-grade activated carbon, the T-Carb also includes two disposable G4 particle pre-filters to protect the carbon cells from particulate contamination. The patented cell construction enables a greater weight of activated carbon to be used to provide a higher performance, longer dwell times and greater filtration efficiency.

The Air Boss T-Series comprises 11 models with throughputs from 4420 to 17 680 m3/h. All models can be installed free hanging or ducted for source capture.
