Meeting the requirements for low noise and low height for a hotel upgrade in central London is an Aermec NRA 650 air-cooled chiller.
Quietness in operation was the key criterion in the selection of air-conditioning plant for the upgrade of a 90-bedroom hotel on a sensitive site on the south side of the River Thames in London and very close to the Tate Modern. An Aermec NRA 650 low-noise, roof-mounted, air-cooled water chiller was selected to serve individual Aermec chassis-type cooling-only fan-coil units mounted in bulkheads in each of the bedrooms. The chiller also had to meet local planning height constraints and was supplied complete with run and standby high static pumps, 500 litre storage vessel and expansion tank. The fan coils have chilled-water control valves and wall-mounted controllers The Aermec equipment was suppied by AiAX. Tel. 01322 612020
