Frese has added static balancing valves to its range of commissioning equipment for hydronic systems. The STBV fixed-orifice double-regulating valve is available in sizes from DN15 to DN300. These valves are simple to install and have a clear 2-digit presetting scale to deliver accurate control at all flow settings.

The SBTV is compatible with Frese’s PV Compact differential-pressure control valve in system designs that use conventional control valves and TRVs, making it suitable for use as part of a large energy-efficient system using different valve types.

Features include built-in pressure-testing ports for flow measurement and a double-regulating feature that enables the valve opening to be set at the desired point with an Allen key.
