REL wins £1.1 million contract for AXA

REL Electrical has won a £1.1 million contract for the design and build of MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) services for a 2300 m2 extension at AXA Healthcare’s head office in Tunbridge Wells. The overall project is worth £5 million and will provide three floors of open-plan office space and 360 workstations.

The building is known as International House and is being built to achieve a BREEAM ‘Very good’ rating. Services will include an air-to-water heat pump serving a radiator heating system.

The contract was awarded by Lakehouse, an asset and energy support services group.
