Keston races into action for Honda Formula One

Supporting the development of Honda engines for Formula One motor racing is a bespoke Keston boiler rig for Honda Racing Development at Bracknell.
Keston Boilers has supplied a bespoke rig to provide all the heating and domestic-hot-water needs of the engine production facility of Honda Racing Development in Bracknell, which supplies racing engines for Honda Racing and Super Aguri Formula One teams. The rig incorporates two C55 boilers, pressurisation set and expansion vessel. It serves the 3-storey office facility. Keston won the contract for its ability to tailor products to a customer’s specific needs. This project required a low-height rig as space in the plant room was severely restricted. A solution was sought that could be manoeuvred into position and connected into the system with minimal downtime. The rig was installed by S&J Industrial pipework of Henley-on-Thames, working closely with Keston throughout the project to ensure the correct specification of boiler plant. All such rigs are built to order, and Keston guarantees a quick turnaround from order to delivery.
