Ability adds the cooling touch to luxury London development

Over 140 fan-coil units were provided by Ability projects for this project in London to provide cooling and heating.
Penthouses and some apartments in the St George’s Wharf luxury development on the south bank of the River Thames in London have comfort cooling delivered by fan-coil units made by Ability Projects. The 22-storey complex comprises a number of visually attractive gull-wing roofs and terraced apartment blocks separated by courtyards and fountains. In all, Ability supplied over 140 2-pipe units from its Atlas, Titan and Zeus ranges with cooling capacities of 1.34 to 3.36 kW and heating from 1. to 3.3 kW. They were installed by Essex Electrical Group of Romford. Noise levels are NR30 during the day and NR25 at night at 20 Pa resistance. Each unit was supplied complete with electric heater battery, condensate pump and condensate tray with high-limit sensor. Atlas and Titan units were selected according to the space available for installation. The vertical Zeus units were purpose designed to fit into vertical architectural enclosures in some dining and living-room areas.
