S&S Northern, gas safety
Safety for this outlet of Burger King at Rivington Services on the M61 is provided by an S&S gas-interlock system.

S&S Northern has completed its third project with Euro Garages, one of the UK’s largest independent forecourt retailers, with the installation of a new gas-safety interlock system as part of the £12.3 million redevelopment of Rivington Services on the M61 near Bolton. The system was for the site’s Burger King outlet and meets BS 6173, which is required for new and refurbished commercial kitchens.

The company worked with ventilation specialist Combi Vent on the project.

Zuber Issa, chief executive of Euro Garages, said, ‘Customers now expect to find trusted and quality brands like Burger King at service stations, and we have a responsibility to make these outlets safe. By using S&S Northern, we have ensured just that.’

Andrew Brewster, sales manager with Combi Vent, which installed the system, said, ‘S&S products are of the highest quality, totally reliable and easy to fit. Above all, S&S Northern offer the best after-sales service in the industry, with a team of experienced and knowledgeable engineers’
