Potterton adds new feature to commercial wall-hung boilers

Potterton Commercial, boiler

Potterton Commercial’s Sirius two WH wall-hung stainless-steel condensing boiler complements the existing Sirius WH range. The Sirius two RH is available in five outputs from 50 to 110 kW and offers higher efficiency and a turndown ratio of 6:1 compared to the more common 5:1.

A major design development in the 50, 60 and 70 kW models is the heat-exchanger block being changed from a duo Z to a mono Z type, so one heat exchanger can be used instead of two. These boilers are therefore lighter and also narrower, with a width of 450 mm, than their predecessors.

They can control three heating zones in compliance with the requirements of Part L2. A control box can be added to provide cascade control. These attributes should bring Sirius two WH close to the top of the Energy Technology List, ensuring that installations qualify for Enhanced Capital Allowances.
