Controller display gives powerful capabilities

The key to new controllers from Distech Controls is the capabilities of the integrated operator interface.

Distech Controls has launched two series of programmable controllers that are compatible with BACnet and LonWorks. They are the ECB-x50 and ECL-x50, both of which have an integrated LCD operator interface to reduce set-up time and enable easier time scheduling.

These controls are designed to enable control of advanced applications such as central plant, boilers, chillers, air-handling units, heat-pump and VAV systems. The large and bright colour displays have time-saving features for integration and monitoring. Display of status information such as alarms and over-rides is colour coded, and there is real-time access to monitored values and set points.

Time scheduling and the setting of exception days is achieved in the display via a graphical interface. A future update will provide access to trend log charts.

This operator interface will pay for itself by saving commissioning and maintenance time on many types of project.
