BSRIA announces Briefing details

The popular BSRIA Briefing this November (2014) will have as its theme ‘Smarter ways to better buildings. The event will review how services in the built environment increasingly require integrated solutions. There is a need for designers, builders and installers to work more collaboratively and engage in new technologies and processes in order to supply the UK with working solutions needed in a low-carbon future.

Confirmed speakers for the briefing in London on 14 November include:

• Munish Datta, head of facilities management and Plan A with Marks & Spencer;

• Prof. David Philip, head of BIM with Mace Group and also head of BIM with the Government BIM Task Group;

• Philip Ross, CEO of UnGroup;

• Ian Orme, team leader of BSRIA’s sustainable-construction group.

The speaker after the lunch will be Sir Matthew Pinsent, CBE, 4-times Olympic gold medallist and 10-times World Championship gold medallist.
