Radiant heating includes flue-gas condensation

Schwank’s tetraSchwank tubular radiant heaters recover heat from flue gases to achieve a net energy efficiency of up to 110%. These heaters can have a connected load of up to 40 kW and recover energy from flue gases through a fan-assisted counterflow process of condensing technology. The recovered heat is immediately re-introduced into the building.

These heaters are suitable for low- to medium-height buildings.

Measuring 4700 x 200 mm and weighing 31 kg, tetraSchwank heaters have heat outputs from 15 to 40 kW in U-form and 15 to 30 kW in L-form. The volume flow rate from the fan is up to 800 m3/h.

Managing director Steve Sherman says, ‘The significant cut in heating-system operating costs means that the system can deliver a quick payback after installation.
