Environmental award winner supports Midlands Air Ambulance

Pro-Mec, Mitsubishi Electric

M&E contractor Pro-Mec UK has donated £1000 to the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity after receiving an award for its environmental work as part of Mitsubishi Electric’s ‘Green gateway awards’. The awards recognise the important contribution of Mitsubishi Electric’s partners in encouraging energy efficiency in the built environment. The winner receives a trophy and a donation to the charity of its choice.

Pro-Mac operates across the whole of the UK from its head office in Cannock and specialises in all forms of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and electrical installations.

The company’s Martin Chetter explains, ‘Deciding on Midlands Air Ambulance Charity was easy for me as so many of us travel the motorways, and these guys are there to help if things go drastically wrong.

‘The charity provides a truly life-saving service, but it receives no Government or National Lottery funding and has to rely entirely on public support.’

This charity funds and operates three air ambulances serving Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. It is the largest air-ambulance operating region in the UK. 90% of the region is within reach in eight minutes.
