Slimline air-conditioning cassette is easy to install

A new slimline air conditioning cassette from Mitsubishi Electric is 600 mm square and requires a depth of only 245 mm above the ceiling. It has been designed with ease of installation in mind. It also improves comfort by directing airflow horizontally across the ceiling rather than directing air down into the occupied space.

Noise levels have been reduce by a further 2 to 4 dB, depending on the air-conditioning system, with the introduction of a new 3D turbo fan.

Temporary hanging hooks mean that installers will find it much easier to hold the cassette in place while they are working. There is a drop-prevention cord, and hexagonal-headed screws can be removed even if the screwdriver slot becomes worn.

Installers can work on these cassettes without removing the screws for the control box, reducing the risk of lost screws.
