Free legionella inspections of humidification systems

JS offers a free inspection of humidification systems to ensure that there is no risk of legionella. The free inspection includes checks on the existing risk assessment and water-testing regime, verifying correct operation of the humidifier and associated hygiene features, as well as a detailed review of the schedule for maintenance and disinfection. A schedule is provided after the inspection, which could be used by the facilities manager to help meet the requirements of L8, as required by HSE JS also offers disinfection services for humidification systems. It is recommended that all cold-water humidifiers are disinfected every six months to ensure hygienic operation.
