Heat-exchange modules serve apartments at Highbury Stadium

Central energy plant with individual control of hot water and heating in the 700 apartments of the redevelopment of Highbury Stadium will be achieved using SAV AquaCon indirect modules
Instantaneous hot water at mains pressure will be provided in apartments of the redeveloped Highbury Stadium, the former home of Arsenal Football Club, by SAV AquaCon indirect modules served by central boiler plant. These modules will also provide independently controlled hot water for each apartment. The listed art deco East and West stands form the centrepiece of this development by architects Allies & Morrison, which comprises over 700 apartments in four 7-storey glass-fronted blocks. The pitch itself will form a garden square. When a tap is opened, the variation in pressure is detected by the AquaCon module, and heat is automatically diverted from the underfloor heating circuits to generate domestic hot water. All the modules have a built-in energy meter with an integral radio link to enable consumption data to be collected removed using a Bluetooth receiver. The modules were installed by NG Bailey.
