Dimplex radio-frequency controller goes 24/7

Wireless control of electrical loads of up to 2 kW is provided by this 24-hour or 7-day programmer from Dimplex.
Dimplex has upgraded its radio-frequency controller with the addition of a programmer to give 24-hour or 7-day programming and a liquid-crystal display. It can be used to give thermostatic control to electrical appliances such as towel rails, which do not usually have an integral thermostat. This controller fits in a double-gang back box and can control loads of up to 2 kW. An RF receiver is mounted near the appliance, and the programmer is installed on a wall somewhere more convenient — such as outside an en-suite. There are four programmable time periods per day, and these can be different for each of seven days. There is also a 30-minute boost button. The programmer is IPX4 rated as splash proof and is therefore safe for use in wet areas such as bathrooms.
