Skid-mounted boilers simplify plant replacement in two primary schools near Leeds

Remeha Boilers
Remeha skid-mounted boilers have replaced existing boilers at Shadwell Primary School near Leeds.

As part of a Government-funded replacement programme for capital works in schools, Remeha skid-mounted boilers are proving a popular choice in the Leeds area. Quinta boilers have bee installed by Sayes & Co. of Leeds in two primary schools, one in Shadwell and one in Otley.

Shadwell Primary School has had its entire heating system renewed. It is served by two Quinta 85 skid-mounted boilers with bespoke control panel.

At Otley All Saints School, the new plant comprised two skid-mounted boilers — one a Quinta 85 and the other a Quinta 65.

Remeha’s skid-mounted concept simplifies installation and reduces downtime. Built on a rigid box frame, the units are only 650 mm wide, so they can be rolled into position through a standard doorway.

Pipework is pre-assembled for ease of transport and installation.

Quinta boilers are also quiet and have low NOx emissions.
