Part G of Building Regulations is delayed

Amendments to Part G of the Building Regulations (which covers water efficiency, hot-water safety and sanitation) have been delayed. They were due to come into effect on 1 October, but a notice from the Department for Communities & Local Government reports a postponent of six months to 6 April 2010.

The delay also affects the ‘Water efficiency calculator for new dwellings’, published in September. Its use is postponed to 6 April 2010.
