Daikin air conditioners are optimised for all seasons

Daikin, air conditioning

Daikin Europe has added new features to its Sky Air RZQG-L light commercial range of air-conditioning units to improve seasonal efficiency and meet the energy-related requirements of the EU Products Directive. Sky Air was chosen for this development because of its potentially high benefit for the environment, since light-commercial applications represent the greatest annual energy use because of their high sales volumes and long annual operating hours.

The new system delivers considerable improvements in terms of seasonal efficiency, optimised inverter control of the full temperature distribution curve to achieve optimum part-load performance — resulting in high ratings in actual operating conditions. Further enhancements to performance are made by a newly designed compressor, heat exchanger and improved auxiliary modes.

As a results these outdoor units achieve a 20% improvement in seasonal efficiency compared with previous Sky Air models. They can also re-use existing refrigerant piping.
