JS Wright to fit out apartments on former hospital site

JS Wright, contractor

Building-services provider JS Wright has won a deal to fit out 161 mixed-tenure apartments on a former hospital site in north London. The development will comprise purpose-built and existing Grade 2-listed buildings at the £110 million Woodside Square development in Muswell Hill on the site of St Luke’s Hospital, which was in use from 1930 to 2011.

The development by Hill and retirement-housing provider Hanover aims to provide people aged over 55 with the highest standards of energy-efficient accommodation.

The energy centre will have a CHP unit serving all the buildings.

The services package for each apartment includes underfloor heating, LPHW heating and heat-recovery ventilation. There will be a heat-interface unit in each rented apartment to deliver domestic water services.
