Hitachi adds to heat pumps

Hitachi Air Conditioning has added a compact single-fan unit to its Yutaki range of air-source heat pumps. They are only 800 mm high and can deliver hot water at up to 60°C. Outputs range from 5 to 17 kW.

Inverter-driven scroll compressors are controlled by weather-compensation sensors to maximise efficiency.

These heat pumps are approved under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and qualify for the Renewable Heat Incentive.
