New contract wins for SES

SES has reported a series of contract wins in England and Scotland. They have a combined build value in excess of £100 million and reflect a steady increase in orders from clients in the aviation, education, energy and healthcare sectors.

In aviation, SES is working to improve building services at Gatwick Airport’s North Terminal. Education contracts include a new student centre for the London School of Economics.

The company is also involved in the delivery of student accommodation for Northumbria University at Trinity Square, Gateshead — one of the largest developments in the north east of England.

In Scotland, the company is working on a major project for Total in the Laggan and Tormore oil and gas fields north west of the Shetland Islands.

Managing director Peter Lewis says, ‘We continue to benefit from significant growth year on year, and I believe we can put this down to a number of factors. Notably, SES is very much a thinking business, driven by a set of positive behaviours which have been embraced by the company at all staffing levels.

‘Central to our vision of working as a national provider of built-environment services is our continued investment in the latest technology, our commitment to ongoing staff development and the ability to attract high-calibre professionals who will assure our future success.'
