Neil Blakemore has joined CentraLine by Honeywell as an account manager responsible for the West Midlands and Greater Manchester.

Trained in Niagara-based Coach AX software, Neil has made the transition from building control engineering to account management — working with CentraLine Partners, consultants, end users and contractors.

From his initial career training to become a qualified electrician, Neil has worked for nearly 10 years in engineering, programming and commissioning HVAC controls and building management systems. He has also worked abroad in management positions where customer relationships were exceptionally important.

Neil Blakemore, says. ‘Working for CentraLine is enabling me to combine my engineering and customer-focused experience to support partners and specifiers.

‘My background working for system integrators helps me to understand the technical and commercial challenges in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget”.

‘The training and practical experience I have with the Niagara platform is of great benefit to CentraLine Partners and their clients, giving me a good insight in matching control and integration requirements of a specific application with the best Hawk-based solution.’

Jim Sword, national sales manager of CentraLine by Honeywell, says, ‘Neil Blackmore is a great addition to the CentraLine team.

‘We consider control engineering and application knowledge primary skill requirements for our account managers and see this as an essential differentiator from our competitors.

‘The sales environment in the building-controls industry demands a high degree of knowledge and experience to build confidence and credibility with our partners. Neil’s training and background will be invaluable in building a good rapport with our extensive customer base.

‘CentraLine and I are looking forward to an enjoyable and productive working relationship with Neil and wish him well in his career with Honeywell.’
