Briggs & Forrester wins BSF school contract

Galliford Try has appointed Briggs & Forrester Engineering Services to undertake the M&E and public-health installation at the Neale Wade Community College in March, Cambridgeshire. The contract is worth £6.3 million. The project is part of the Cambridgeshire Building Schools for the Future project which has not been affected by the recent Government spending reviews.
The new college will provide 14 000 m2 of teaching space derived from refurbishment and new-build elements and will ultimately accommodate over 1700 pupils aged from 11 to 18.
The college will be completed by the end of 2012.
